Everyone could write a book about their middle and high school years! Regardless of whether they were filled with delight or despair, or most likely a combination of both....I guarantee all of our experiences have one thing in common, DRAMA.
I don't miss the drama associated with those days and now, I find God's sense of humor is audible as my husband and I raise our tweens who are only 13 months apart. We battle through this stage of life in the midst of the, 'drama zone'. The pressure he has as a business owner, my hormones, and their topsy turvy 6th and 7th grade selves, mixed in the cauldron of our home, can cook up a powerful concoction on the best of days.
Are there things I would change about those years? Yes! As a woman in her forties, I CRINGE at certain memories, casting blame on no one but myself. I wish I could sit down and talk to that young woman. So many things to say, so many decisions to make, so many consequences to face...
