If you're like me, an awestruck expression lights your face when you hear someone quote scripture as if it were their name, social security number, and birthday. Ms. Shirley, one of many wonderful women God has put in my path, is like this. Scripture verses are just part of her daily conversation. She isn't showing off; they have been embedded in her being to the point where it's impossible to separate the the vessel from the truth of what lies within.
I SO WANT to be like that. I am SO NOT NOT like that. When I put my mind to it, I am able to memorize scripture. The big boy I'm taking on right now is Psalm 119, divided into little bitty chunks, but even so, I'm not faithful. I find other ways to occupy my time. SIGH. That is why this LIKE is so incredibly brilliant! A coloring book highlighting scripture! I don't know about you, but the 4 and 1 in my age have not put a damper on my love for a good coloring book and box of crayons and/or markers. The following is from Amazon: PRAY * CREATE * MEMORIZE * REFLECT * JOURNAL How would your attitude, actions, and responses change if you lived in the unconditional, immeasurable love of God? What would it look like for you to live loved? Live Loved provides an opportunity for you to pull away from the hustle and bustle of life to pray, reflect, journal, and unleash your creative gifts as you marinate in the truth of God's fierce love for you. By yourself or with others, unleash the creative talents God has given you in a meaningful way. Color and doodle, commit Scripture to memory, share your artistry, and learn to live loved as you craft God's Word into your heart. I'm rubbing my little girl goosebumps as I write. This is my go to for a favorite Christmas gift this year and I thought you might like to put it on your list.
