Today, I’ve got nothing to blog. I’ve been volleying ideas around until I’m dizzy. You see… I’m in a battle between spirit and flesh. Flesh has all sorts of things to say, all kinds of zingers to throw, all kinds of agendas to share with you and shove down your throat. But I am determined to die to this part of self. I want to live, move and breathe with the Holy Spirit. I want my flesh that desires to destroy bound as I lay down self on the altar to be crucified with Christ so that I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. To live by faith in Jesus who loved me and gave himself for me. (paraphrased from Galatians 2:20)
So as I was praying about what God wanted me to share with you, this scenario went through my head to send to our publisher as my “I cannot write a blog today”. Then I heard that still small voice whisper, “You just did.”
Pray for me today as I pray for you… that we would die to self and live for Christ so that spirit wins over flesh. As Paul said, my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak.
