Can You Relate? How to Handle Parents, Friends, Boys, and More by Vicki Courtney impressed me initially with the appealing cover and catchy title. This stage of my life is partly defined by the "tween" world drama from a boy and girl perspective, so Godly guidance/wisdom/advice is always welcome! I was thrilled with the 207 pages of interactive discussion about navigating this period in a girl's life. The book has 4 parts: Friends, Family, The World Around Me, and God. Easy to read real-life discussion packed with Biblical truth, Fill in the Blank scenarios, Quizzes, Tips, Real life application in the form of creative ideas, and scannable QVR's to get video answers from real, live people, entices little fingers to open it up and dive in! Everything your big-girl self loves about flipping through a magazine is contained in this book and draws the eyes of these girls in one page at a time, all the time addressing serious heart issues.
The colors, fonts, designs, page-set ups, and technology integration will be a no-brainer for little girls itching to have some big-girl discussion.
I highly recommend. Here is the button that will lead you to the site:
