This Thanksgiving season choose to give thanks. It’s easy to keep our eyes on our surroundings and what is happening. All the pain, suffering, deaths, sickness, and the list could go on. My heart has been in a constant state of breaking for those around me losing loved ones. But I will choose to give thanks from the place of broken.
The Holy Spirit is our Comforter.
To have known Grace and the legacy she left with 12 short years on earth.
To have known Mark and the gentle, manly, humble way he served Christ and his family.
To have known Diana and the way she stood in the gap and the grace of heartfelt adoption.
A greater appreciation for how fleeting our time is here.
The treasure of family.
The love of friends.
The ability to love and serve my Lord with all my heart, soul, strength and mind.
The gift of obedience and the blessings that ensue.
Spiritual eyes that see and spiritual ears that hear the One who loves me.
The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
I could go on for days but I would rather you take it from here…
Go. Be thankful and put on the robe of righteousness or the breastplate of righteousness, whichever you need right now and the peace of God will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
