I often listen to podcasts or books on Audible when I exercise. Yesterday, as I walked around our neighborhood appreciating the much anticipated cooler weather, I listened to Jeff Henderson at Northpoint Church out of Atlanta. He threw out what I call a New Year's challenge based on Galatians 5: 22-23.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Simply read through the passage, pray about it, ask God what ONE fruit you should work on this year and do it with an intentional attitude. Ask friends and family for their opinions as well. I am absolutely going to take this challenge and blog about it on Wednesdays. I'll go ahead and reveal mine: PEACE. No doubt about it. How about it? Are you up for the challenge?
